PLEASE TRY TO SUPPORT THE CLUB EITHER BY HELPING TO RUN IT, PUBLICISE IT, OR JUST TURNING UP ON THE DAY.

The club is now using Dicentra ( not Dysentry Colin!) for its monthly DPI assignments. Please make sure that your images are correctly titled and sized, as the software can reject images that do not comply.

There is now a new page accessible from the home page of the website.

It is entitled 'competitions' and is intended to inform and clarify what is needed to enter the monthly competitions. It also has a link to send in your DPI entries.

The second new section is 'DPI entries' which is a direct link to submit pictures, this is for all you clever sods who think you have got everything sussed and don't need telling!

RULES FOR THE MONTHLY COMPETITIONS HAVE CHANGED

Entries are now limited to TWO per member for each  monthly assignment.

This means that you may enter either one image in each of the two categories, or two images into a single category. This applies to both prints and projected images.

All projected images for competitions to be sent to:

clubentries@hotmail.com

(If you do not receive a reply from Colin or Graeme, please assume your pictures have not been received and try again)

Could members also send titles for the print competitions to Colin beforehand so that entry lists can be prepared.

We would also ask you please not to enter the same image as a print and a dpi.

MAY I REMIND ALL MEMBERS TO TURN OFF ALL MOBILES OR SWITCH THEM TO SILENT MODE DURING THE MEETINGS.

IT IS NOT ACCEPTABLE FOR PHONES TO BE RINGING DURING MEETINGS, ESPECIALLY WHEN WE HAVE A VISITING JUDGE OR LECTURER.

I WOULD ALSO ASK THAT CHATTERING AND WHISPERING BE KEPT TO AN ABSOLUTE MINIMUM, AS SOME OF OUR MEMBERS CAN WHISPER OVER THREE FIELDS !!!
