Monthly Digital Entries
DPI entries must conform to the existing rules which are:
Images must not exceed 1400 pixels wide or 1050 pixels high.
(This means that portrait orientation images can not be larger than 1050 pixels on any side!)
Images must be submitted at 72 pixels per inch.
They must be saved at maximum quality in jpeg (level 12 in Photoshop)
They must be in sRGB colour space.
(Adobe 1998, or any other colour space, may result in images not looking correct when projected)
You do not need to add a background to smaller images as the software will automatically set the background colour to Black.
Files must be named as follows:
INITIALS(underscore)Title For Example: CB_Brilliant Picture.jpg
(Initials in capitals, no spaces either side of underscore, do not use any underscores in the title part of the image)
We currently allow a maximum of three entries per member for each assignment evening. This can be either 3 images in one category, or split between each category.
Please be aware the competition software Dicentra is configured to reject images that do not conform to these rules.
Entries must be sent to the link on the bottom of this page, which also appears on the index page, which will send the images to Colin and Graeme. Once they have received your entry you will receive a confirmation e-mail.
