NOTES
1)
Each member is allowed to submit a maximum of 6 prints and 6 digital
images. It is to the discretion of each individual member which categories they
decide to submit to.
2)
Print mounts to be a maximum size of 20 x 16 inches.
3)
Minimum print size is 9 x 6 inches (or equivalent size > 54 in2 )
All prints must be mounted.. All prints will be judged but whether
these are displayed in the annual exhibition will depend on the available
space
4)
The title, name of entrant, section and class must be shown on the
back of the mount for prints. A separate label duplicating the print
entry must be mounted on the master sheet. These will be provided by the
clubon the night when the prints are handed in.
5)
Digital images should be 1024 x 768 pixels and 72 dpi
6)
For digital images supply title and name as well as the category being
entered for each image. E-mail these to Colin Bookman
before handing in night but after 13th January and please supply a list of
images, and categories, being entered to Roy Taylor and Chris Cunliffe.
7) Negative, print and mounting must be the work of the entrant. However, for colour prints, the film may be trade processed.
8)
Prints and digital images previously entered in any of our previous
annual exhibitions are not eligible. However prints and digital images
previously entered in our monthly assignments are permitted.
9)
In all entries the prints must be the sole work of the member except
where trade processing has been used. In the case of digital images
the photographer has taken the original exposure and carried out all
manipulation themselves.
Handing
in night for prints and digital images will be 26th January 2010. A
selection of prints will be exhibited later in the year In order to display a
print in one of the clubs frames it is essential that entries be mounted on a
20 x 16 board. Prints submitted on a larger or smaller board will not be
considered for exhibition. Moreover since we will only be able to exhibit
a limited number of prints and it is anticipated that a number greater
than that will be entered some selection will be necessary. Every effort will be
made to ensure that every member submitting prints will have some included in
the exhibition. In the past this has been done on a pro rata basis.
Judges
comments on the projected images will be on 23rd
